Naturally suited to long-term wear, wool is an eco-friendly fiber and aligns with Lafayette 148’s commitment to enduring luxury. Wool is 100% natural, grown year-round by Australia’s 72 million sheep, consuming water, air, sunshine and grass. Every year sheep continuously produce a new fleece, making wool a completely renewable natural fiber source. When 100% Merino wool fabrics are disposed of, they will naturally decompose in soil in a matter of months, slowly releasing valuable nutrients back into the earth. Finally, its natural wrinkle, stain and odor resistance requires less laundering.
