Creative Director Emily Smith and The Morning Show costume designer Sophie de Rakoff worked in close collaboration to develop numerous styles for each character—including Lafayette 148 Brand Ambassador Karen Pittman’s character Mia Jordan, and to reflect the diverse range of women’s working lives—and looks—at the heart of The Morning Show.

As we created Lafayette 148 pieces to help develop each character, we were both able to draw on our decades of understanding female archetypes and how the clothes truly build women up.
