Our Process

Our
Process

At a moment when fashion is becoming faster and clothing more disposable, we believe in the beauty of design that’s lasting.

So much so, in fact, that we built our very own factory—a soaring, state-of-the-art design workshop and headquarters in our founder’s hometown of Shantou, China—so that we can guide every step of the process from design to final garment. Start to finish, each piece never leaves our hands.

Fabric comes first. It’s the start of everything, and we only use the best. Cashmere from Loro Piana. Printed silks from Como, Italy. Cotton from Reggiani, shearling from Spain and classic wool from Botto Giuseppe. Our European mill partners are considered some of the finest textile producers in the world, not only for the quality of their yarns, but for their extraordinary commitment to sustainability.

THE JOURNEY
OF A COAT

Luxurious and executed with architectural precision, our double-faced coats have become a foundation of our collections. A team of European craftspeople immersed our artisans in the process, helping them achieve an extraordinary mastery of the technique. The pinnacle is the closing of the seams—a painstaking feat of handcraft that takes years to perfect. It’s a labor of love and a level of flawlessness that you can see and feel in every piece.

THE JOURNEY
OF A KNIT

We scour the world to source the finest yarns. A fleet of ultra-modern knitting machines, all imported from Italy, translate the pattern from the minds of our designers to needle and thread. Delicate ribs, complex plaited stitches and superfine cashmere panels are turned out under the eye of master technicians. The last touch—the linking—is done entirely by hand.

A DESIGNER’S
DREAM

With our very own Knits Division, Leather Studio, Embellishment Atelier and Wovens Workshop all under one roof, the only limits on what we can do is our own imagination. Traditional, time-honored techniques are fused with futuristic technology, allowing us to create designs of increasing complexity. If we can dream it, we can do it.
