The Sr. Coordinator, Talent Acquisition & Employee Relations will facilitate full-cycle Corporate and Retail recruitment to ensure Lafayette 148 attracts and retains top talent. The person in this role will also serve as the first stop for employee relations and performance management issues for home office, non-management employees, and support the HR team in additional company-driven initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Ensures an elevated candidate experience – from job description to offer - that embodies the high standards of the Lafayette 148 employment brand and attracts exceptional candidates
  • Partners with hiring managers to develop job descriptions that accurately reflect the scale and scope of positions
  • Partners with the Director of Human Resources to develop and execute strategies to attract qualified candidates from a range of channels, including but not limited to: LinkedIn, career boards, personal network development, employee referrals and external recruiting partners
  • Owns recruitment tracking spreadsheet and company's employee referral program
  • Conducts regular new employee check-ins to ensure job satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement

Employee Relations

  • Serves as the first stop for employee relations matters
  • Partners with Director of Human Resources to provide guidance to managers and employees to effectively address employee matters and ensure a favorable outcome
  • Proactively engages employees to identify and address active and potential future organizational issues, and take action to achieve resolution
  • Supports the performance management process

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 4+ years’ experience in Human Resources, with a focus on Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong command of high-level recruiting tools and techniques, including LinkedIn recruiter and applicant tracking systems
  • Experience with competency-based interviewing techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sensitivity for confidential matters
  • Proactive work ethic with excellent time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Extremely self-motivated and track record of delivering on commitments
  • Team player with a strong customer service mindset
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
