Sr. Buyer, Full Price

The Senior Buyer, Full Price, is responsible for helping to assort the seasonal collections for the full price channels (Web, Retail Stores, AtelierDirect and L148 By Appointment), and analyzing the business to inform the buying, planning and store management teams on how best to achieve financial targets. The Senior Buyer will also curate the Retail Store, AtelierDirect (AD); and L148 By Appointment assortments. They will manage the activities throughout the season to promote the collection performance and achieve sales and sell thru targets. The person in this role will manage the Associate Buyer and Buying Assistant. This role is hybrid in-office/work from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive seasonal assortments for Retail Stores, AD and L148 By Appointment to achieve sales targets and other business KPIs
  • Manage life cycle of product within the stores, from the buy execution, sizing, buy book creation, allocation, fill ins, and mark down/ end of season transfer
  • Analyze business on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis; modifying reporting to continually enhance learnings
  • Partner with Retail Planning to optimize retail sales performance
  • Ad hoc reporting in season to maximize sale objectives (sizing, in depth classification, color, etc)
  • Main Buying point of contact with Retail Store and AtelierDirect teams for product related issues;
    • Regular business feedback
    • Allocation information
    • Special requests or transfer
  • Main Buying point of contact for Visual Team;
    • Supply buy information for visual guidelines books, support shoot if needed
    • Ensure visual support timed appropriately with deliveries
    • Share feedback regarding buy strategies that could be impactful for VM 
    • Lead assortments for any Retail activations (Pop-Ups, Trunk Shows, etc)
  • Deliver seasonal and monthly delivery trainings to the CCC and Retail store teams

Desired Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience; in premium to luxury apparel preferred

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask while achieving all deadlines
  • Be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a proactive, self - starter
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; ability to learn Inventory Management and sales systems
  • Ability to work weekends during market
  • Ability to travel to stores

Not required but preferred:

  • Women’s footwear and accessories buying experience
  • Strong understanding of retail math and OTB management
  • Understanding of key luxury markets
