Sr. Account Executive

The Sr. Account Executive is responsible for the overall management of their Wholesale sales account. This position works closely with the Executive Director of Sales, as well as our retail buying team partners to ensure profitability and growth of each account.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Executive Director of Sales to continuously analyze sales numbers and stock levels to ensure profitable business for each account
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with accounts through daily communication
  • Schedule and lead NY market appointments for all accounts 4 times a year
  • Handle sales orders from start to finish to meet and exceed sales targets (processing orders, checking and tracking orders in Blue Cherry, making sure orders hit delivery ship windows)
  • Maintain and analyze weekly and seasonal selling reports and pull seasonal by door sell-thru’s
  • Provide Field Market Coordinator’s and Designated Selling Associates’ with sales goals, weekly sales updates, tools, and support to meet their monthly and seasonal goals
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Field Sales Support and Market and FMC team on best practices and out of home base initiatives
  • Attend in-store events to drive increased sales in top markets
  • Propose and execute in-store initiatives to drive full price sales (mini selling events, personal shopper engagement, and community outreach)
  • Prepare and deliver product knowledge meetings each season
  • Encourage cross-selling with OHB associates within the stores
  • Share competitive feedback on best-selling product and best practices with the rest of the sales team
  • Partner with the marketing team on digital assets, selling tools, contests, and event needs
  • Work with the store planning and visual merchandising teams to ensure the brand is represented correctly within all accounts and store locations
  • Work closely with production team to ensure timely deliveries and evaluate any issues that may impact orders
  • Manage drop ship program within each account
  • Review weekly OTS and reach out to accounts for re-order opportunities
  • Additional position-related tasks as assigned

Desired Background:

  • Bachelors’ degree required

Experience:

  • 6+ years of wholesale sales experience

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated and organized
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy on all tasks
  • Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Systems knowledge of Blue Cherry Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time/flexibility of schedule
