Specialty Stores - Account Executive

The Account Executive, Specialty Stores, will be responsible for driving business and managing accounts in all aspects, from selling at trunk shows, to order entry, customer service and follow-up. This individual will also be responsible for Market preparation and managing all market appointments.


  • Build & maintain strong relationships with accounts through daily communication
  • Schedule NY Market appointments for all accounts within territory
  • Present line to buyers at Market
  • Analyze territory and develop a game plan to open new accounts within territory
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Attend seasonal Trunk shows and Regional Markets
  • Schedule pre-trunk show calls with each of your accounts to ensure flawless execution
  • Prepare & deliver morning product knowledge meetings prior to each Trunk Show attended
  • Encourage cross selling with OHB associates within the store
  • Provide DSA’s (if applicable) with sales goals, tools and support to meet their monthly goals
  • Share feedback on selling and marketing best practices in accordance with Lafayette 148 standards
  • Partner with Marketing team on digital/visual assets, selling tools, contests & event needs
  • Schedule seasonal product knowledge calls to educate key sales associates on product trends to drive sales ie., key items, best sellers, ongoing opportunities
  • Ensure orders are processed timely and with accuracy. Communicate directly with customers on order corrections and suggestions

Desired Background:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree


  • 5+ years of wholesale, specialty store or luxury sales experience preferred


  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Strong selling skills and product knowledge
  • Sense of urgency and ability to multi-task
  • Strong verbal/written communication and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrate cross-functional collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Must be flexible to work outside of normal business hours in a fast-paced environment
  • Follow up skills, attention to detail, organized, and time management skills are a must for this role
  • Self-starter and can independently problem solve
  • E-commerce knowledge preferred
  • BlueCherry and/or Web PDM experience a plus
  • B2B Showroom experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Travel Required (30%)
