The Specialist - HRIS, Compensation & Benefits position works on a range of compensation and benefits activities while providing technical administration of the Company’s HRIS system. This is a unique opportunity to be a contributing member of a small team, in a dynamic and growing business within the fashion industry. The primary focus of this position is the management of all HCM data to optimize the employment experience for the Lafayette 148 team.



  • Administers HCM systems leveraging Dayforce to ensure the global data accuracy and integrity of personnel records and ad-hoc report generation as requested
  • Ensures all data for new hires, terminations and job changes are processed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Liaises with and supports Payroll function
  • Coordinates administration of employee benefits including claims resolution, open enrollment and data submission (enrollments/changes) to all benefit partners and COBRA elections
  • Provides technical and educational support for HCM systems
  • Administers HR components of Company intranet via Igloo platform
  • Manages visa applications/renewals for employees as needed
  • Liaise with tax department when new state payroll requests are required
  • Provides the HR team with all technology support
  • Works alongside the Technology department on all technology related initiatives
  • Other projects and responsibilities as assigned

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (preferably in Human Resources)
  • Minimum 7+ years related HRIS experience, Ceridian Dayforce and/or Igloo software experience a plus
  • Strong technology skills/systems aptitude
  • Strong time management (a must)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and listening) required
  • Must be extremely detail focused, have an analytical mindset and the ability to independently problem solve
  • Ability to deal with all types of service issues in a positive attitude
  • Must be able to interact across departmental divisions and integrate/collaborate with them
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (must have strong excel skills)
  • Cantonese speaking a plus
