Manager, Retail Operations
Job Summary
The Manager of Retail Operations will be responsible for handling the daily operational functions, processes and facilities for our group of full price retail boutiques and outlet stores. They will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership and will be hands-on working closely with our Retail Store Managers & Supervisors to ensure adherence to company policy and the ongoing operational training/development of the retail employees. The role will liaise with cross-functional corporate partners, manage the store opening/relocation process, oversee inventory control, conduct store visits and provide feedback to maintain consistency across the channel.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage daily operations and prioritize tasks
- Ensure strict adherence to security standards
- Updates and maintain the POS / Operations manual in partnership with Technology and Accounting
- Develop and maintain user guide documentation for key systems
- Partner with IT on improving efficiency through automation & innovation
- Lead internal collaboration between teams for solutions or improvements related to the Retail organization
- Maintains the integrity of mid-year inventories and authorizes adjustments/reconciliations
- Report out ROI of marketing initiatives during events, manage promotional codes, calendar and expenses
- Manages invoices/cost center of each location utilizing Continia system; monitor and report out controllable P&L updates to retail managers
- Produces EOM KPIs reports and summarizes wins & opportunities by location
- Supports the selection process of retail operation vendors including maintenance and loss prevention
- Manages supplies approval process for retail
- Support VP in tracking R&M expenses & interfacing with all departments.
- Partner with VP to develop R&M/HVAC and other budgets as directed by Finance.
- Work flexible hours as required, available to take emergency calls after hours and weekend in support of the retail business.
Experience:
- Minimum 6+ years related experience, store management and retail operations
- Prior experience with budgeting, and planning
- Prior experience with retail systems and inventory management
Required Background:
- Experience with tracking expenses, budgeting, forecasting.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, managing multiple projects/tasks under pressure and time constraints and on budget
- Demonstrates critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze issues and develop solutions is critical
- Ability to deal with all types of service issues in a positive attitude
- Highly flexible and adaptable to changes in priorities and projects.

Base Pay Range:
The base salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience and location.
