Manager, eCommerce Site Merchandising

The Manager, Ecommerce Site Merchandising will oversee the online product merchandising and manage regular content, product, and UX for both our Mainline Site and Outlet Site. They are responsible for conveying a consistent brand image with user experience in mind, to encourage traffic and sales on the site. The Manager will work closely with the General Manager of eCommerce to ensure product alignment with catalog & retail, Director of eCommerce Operations for optimized efficiency and user experience, and Director of Content to execute branding stories and company information. The Manager will supervise the Ecommerce Site Merchandising Coordinator who leads product go-lives and assists with site merchandising tasks.


  • Responsible for visual merchandising of website key categories to ensure brand stories are communicated in an elevated, cohesive manner (on Mainline website and Outlet website)
  • Acts as a point of connection between Buying, Asset Management, Retail, Creative, Content & China Technology team for timely go-live dates of new product arrivals, promotions, and other miscellaneous website updates; conducts site QA prior to go-live date
  • Own weekly eCommerce site metric report and run ad-hoc reporting on site engagement metrics and competitive research for new initiatives
  • Based on catalog and marketing messages, partner with Buying and Content teams to select product for impactful site and e-mail messages that drive sales and brand message
  • Work collaboratively with internal Creative & Content teams, to ensure assets required for regular story telling are effective and relevant for the site
  • Manage the third-party partners and technologies that power our site product suggestions and leverage them effectively to drive increased sales
  • Oversee Shop Premium Outlets digital storefront and offer setup
  • Partner with internal digital marketing to ensure campaigns and SEO initiatives are maximized on the site
  • Point of contact for Customer Care Team requests and questions
  • Supervises and delegates tasks to Site Merchandising Coordinator

Desired Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree


  • 6+ years or relevant experience in women’s premium to luxury Ecommerce merchandising experience is required


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly analytical with great attention to detail
  • Possess a proactive work ethic, able to work independently
  • Ability to effectively work cross functionally; come up with solutions when needed
  • Ability to multi-task while achieving all deadlines
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Be flexible and able to work and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide strong leadership to direct report and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Web Platforms, (such as Magento, preferred), CMS, Web Analytics Tools (such as Google Analytics), basic understanding of HTML / CSS, and User Experience (UX)
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; ability to learn Inventory Management and sales systems
