The Finance Intern will assist the FP&A team of Lafayette 148.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with analysis of historical performance for all business divisions/segments/functions
  • Monitor performance of business results including revenue, expenses, headcount, and other key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes of key expenses
  • Assist in preparing and building effective presentations for management
  • Participate in annual strategic planning and budgeting activities; Support budget / strategic initiatives with analytics
  • Develop documentation of step by step forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Support ad-hoc business analysis including but not limited to: return on investment, NPV, T&E, Sales Forecasting and modeling
  • Other assignments/projects as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • 40 hours (Monday through Friday) required for the 10-week summer program (End of May to Beginning of August)
  • Full-time undergraduate student, preferences are generally given to rising Juniors or Seniors
  • Primary career interest in Finance
  • Team player and ability to prioritize/multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate ability to problem solve for tactical issues
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and time management skills
  • Must be a creative thinker, full of inventive ideas and unique concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
