Digital Designer

The Digital Designer is responsible for creating compelling, cohesive, on-brand creative executions across all digital channels, including the website, email, social media, and paid advertising. This individual should possess the skill set to transform concepts into wireframes and visual assets for an impactful and memorable brand and customer experience. He/she should have solid experience in and knowledge of the digital field, design best practices, and current digital trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Sr. Digital Designers in creating on-brand, engaging visual assets across all digital channels, including emails, digital marketing banners, and UX enhancements.
  • Assist in the creation of social media calendar and corresponding assets, including Instagram stories.
  • Create e-catalogs, evergreen page assets, navigation assets and any additional site assets as needed.
  • Maintain ADA compliance of website
  • Create mobile-optimized designs for all digital channels
  • Optimize, slice, and deliver assets for digital use
  • Communicate effectively with developers to ensure proper creative implementation
  • Collaborate with print designers to ensure brand consistency across different platforms
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the direct to consumer team and utilize business data and analytics to make informed creative decisions that support business growth
  • Work in a collaborative, communicative and organized manner to help ensure projects’ effective completion
  • Present projects and creative to cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback when applicable
  • Assist in maintenance of the brand's website and QA process
  • Stay abreast of competitor creative and current trends in the online retail space
  • Support innovative thinking to advance company’s digital IQ

Desired Background:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Fine Arts

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in luxury and/or fashion industries

Skills:

  • Strong sense of design, clean, modern aesthetic, image manipulation and cropping skills, keen eye for typography, visual hierarchy, and composition
  • Experience in a high volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an ongoing commitment to achieving high quality results
  • Strong understanding of successful E-commerce and responsive design
  • Strong knowledge of digital asset optimization and best practices
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work well independently
  • Ability to be nimble and flexible in response to changing business needs

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
