ON MY
INSPIRATION
FOR HOLIDAY
“I channeled a simpler time — the Paris nightlife scene in the 80s — as I was designing this collection. There’s a sense of joie de vivre, which I think is what we all need right now!”
“I love the era’s liquid fabrics, strong proportions and all that glitz & shine. I think of this collection as a celebration of everything we’ve been through. It feels very happy and optimistic.”
“The French photographer Guy Bourdin was a big influence, especially his ultra-saturated colors, dramatic vibe and elements of surprise.”
ON MY
DRESSED DOWN
APPROACH
TO DRESSING UP
“For most of us this year, a lot of our celebrating will happen at home. My take on holiday dressing is festive, but still as comfy and easy as possible. Give me some slippers and sequin pajamas and I’m set.”
“I kept all the silhouettes super soft and deconstructed. We did a velvet tracksuit that’s as cozy as your favorite sweats, but still ultra luxe. I love how unexpected it is.”
“I’d always been drawn to knit dressing. It’s luxurious but laid-back, and it looks instantly polished for the holidays (or any day). Just grab some pretty earrings and you’re ready for your next Zoom party.”
ON THE
LOOK OF
LEATHER
“Our leather this season has a real ease to it. It’s really chic head-to-toe and has a gorgeous, undone vibe.”
“The leather we use is super lightweight, buttery soft and comfortable on the body. It’s also easy to dress up or down. That versatility is key.”
