Associate Merchandiser

Job Summary

The Associate Merchandiser will support the VP of Merchandising and Sr. Merchandise Director, as well as, the entire Merchandising team in managing daily system needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and support the DESL and BC systems with the goal of becoming a super user and, over time, the sole owner responsible for system accuracy, maintenance, and ongoing improvements.
  • Execute timely and accurate system updates while building a strong understanding of workflows, dependencies, and best practices.
  • Create, manage, and distribute product updates and change memos to maintain cross-functional alignment.
  • Support RP and carryover seasonal setup and maintenance within DESL systems as systems expertise develops.
  • Coordinate and track RP and carryover samples, ensuring visibility and on-time execution.
  • Proof Brand Lookbook documentation to support seasonal storytelling.
  • Enter and maintain product hierarchy and wear-occasion attribution, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support product naming in collaboration with the Merchandiser.
  • Participate in preparation for key meetings, including Costing and Line Opening.
  • Create initial shells of seasonal merchandising plans for both RTW and Accessories.
  • Manage the inclusion of Carryover and RP boxes and sketches within Core Fabric Line Plans.
  • Support industry trend research and assist in pricing matrix development to inform assortment and pricing strategy.
  • Create and maintain pricing long sheets by fabric category to support seasonal planning.
  • Create and maintain calendar invites for key merchandising-driven meetings and coordinate logistics with IT and Facilities Management teams.
  • Assist management with daily operational needs and special projects as assigned.

Desired Background:

  • 1-3 years of related experience

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Knowledgeable in DeSL and BlueCherry systems a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Range:

The base salary for this position is $57,000 - $65,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience and location.
