SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Expedited orders placed after 12:00 noon EST will ship via UPS on the next business day given item availability and payment verification. If an item is not currently in stock, we will indicate an expected ship date. These items will ship when available via our free UPS ground delivery option. Customer Care will contact you if there is any delay with your order.
Unfortunately we are not able to process orders for PO and APO boxes.
We do require a signature on all shipments valuing $3,000 or more.
Shipping costs will depend upon the method and option you choose during checkout. Changes to the delivery address after the order has been shipped, indicated by our shipping confirmation email, may be subject to a fee for UPS interception charges.
Free Shipping: All in-stock items will be shipped free of charge. You will receive your items 3-6 business days after date-of-order. All backordered items will ship together via UPS ground, at no additional cost, once the remaining balance is available for shipment.
Expedited Shipping: Lafayette 148 New York does not offer Saturday delivery, and does not include Saturdays in expedited shipping times. In-stock items will ship on same day of purchase if ordered by 12:00 noon EST Monday — Friday.
If you would like to ship your in-stock items two day or next day, the following charges will apply:

A NOTE ABOUT “NO SIGNATURE” SHIPPING
When Lafayette 148 New York ships merchandise, we normally require a signature at time of delivery. This requirement can be waived upon request by calling our customer service at 1.888.448.1488. In this case please note that Lafayette 148 New York accepts no liability for lost or stolen merchandise once it leaves the shipper.
On occasion, the shipper may elect to not leave the merchandise even if you requested "no signature". In this case they will typically leave a shipping notice at the delivery address. Sign and place the shipping notice where the shipper left it. By signing the notice, you may be able to receive your merchandise on a second or third delivery attempt.
Items sold by lafayette148ny.com and shipped to destinations in the states of California, Florida, Virginia, Georgia, Illinois, New York, Texas and Washington are subject to state sales tax. Kentucky residents must report and pay sales or use tax directly to the Kentucky Department of Revenue. Accessories and fur are subject to sales tax in New Jersey.
Lafayette 148 New York will gladly accept returns within 30 days of the date the items were shipped. Returns must be processed on original form of payment used for purchase. All items must be unworn with original tags attached and packed with the return slip.Please note the reason of your return on the return slip. Though we process your credit immediately, please allow 1-2 billing cycles for it to appear on your statement. Mail your items using the included pre-paid UPS Return Label. For your convenience, click here to find the nearest UPS drop off location. For returns, we will deduct a flat shipping fee of $7.00 from your order for return postage. Insurance is included when using the provided pre-paid UPS Return Label. If you elect to ship without the provided pre-paid label, shipping will be at your expense and the $7.00 shipping fee will not be deducted from your account. You should track and insure your return so you know when we have received it and to protect the shipment if lost or damaged in transit. If you elect not to track or insure the package for the full value, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping. Lafayette148ny.com does not credit back expedited shipping charges incurred for the original shipment of an order. For PayPal transactions, follow the normal return process as stated above. Do not use the dispute process for standard returns of merchandise.
Return Policy - Footwear
Lafayette 148 New York does not accept returns on worn footwear. When trying on footwear, stand on a carpeted surface to protect the soles of the shoe. All shoes must be unworn with original tags attached, including the dust bag and original box with the return slip (on the reverse).

Lafayette148ny.com will honor a one-time price adjustment on full price merchandise ordered within ten days of price reduction. Items purchased on sale are eligible for a one-time price adjustment in the form of store credit if marked down to final sale within ten days of purchase. Applies to purchases made at lafayette148ny.com only.
